Fido Field Trips – Oct 5, 19 + On-Going

Rescue Small Miracles allows you to make a difference in a shelter dog’s life with this free program. Whether you are considering adopting a dog, do not have a lifestyle that allows you to commit full-time, or want to help out the rescue, this volunteer opportunity lets you take a shelter dog out for the day. Whether it’s a walk through a local park, a Starbucks pup cup run, or some cozy couch snuggles, it gives the pups a much-needed break from the kennel and helps them show off their true personalities outside the shelter.

Field trips are usually scheduled two Sundays a month from 9 am to 12 pm so the dogs can be back in time for open adoption hours. Volunteers must be age 18 or older. Kids are allowed to participate, but an adult age 18+ must be in control of the dog at all times. Keep an eye on the Rescue Small Miracles Facebook page for future dates.
