Now, it is opening up in the Nation’s Capital in the Ivy City neighborhood. The venue also includes an Arcade Lounge and Game Bay with a full menu and bar.

Beat the Bomb’s signature experience is a one-hour ‘Mission’ in which small groups of players don hazmat suits and progress through 5 hi-tech experiences with touch screens, motion cameras, RFID readers, and lasers. You’ll also get a fanny pack so you can carry your phone to record TikTok videos, Instagram stories, and snap and share photos along the way. Every room is a new experience that will test your communication, coordination, reaction and memory skills as you work together as a group to earn time on your ‘Bomb Clock’. In the 5th and final room, the team must de-activate the World’s Largest Paint Bomb before the clock runs out. Otherwise, you’ll all be coated in many glowing paint colors as the bomb explodes. Many groups are unsuccessful as the explosion is one of the best parts of the experience! NOTE: Ages 8+ are allowed to play. However, it is strictly 21+ on Fridays and Saturdays after 7:30 pm.
